Did you know Thomas Edison and Henry Ford used to used to stay the winters in Fort Myers, Florida? Yep,They made their homes in to huge museums.It is really neat to go past there at night as they have the whole place lit up. From time to time there will be something special going on.My son was able to play in his school band at one of these special occasions. It was really nice event.

Now can you imagine having a friend so close you would have them move next door to you? Well, that is what Edison and Ford did. They have some really neat things on this estate, they have Edison's labratory, and you can actually walk through it and see the things he was working on when he died. In Ford's garage, you can see some of his cars. They have extensive gardens with some of the most rare plants from around the world.
